You can get surprisingly close.
Reactors 5 and 6, under construction at the time, were abandoned and left to radiate.
Pripyat
Pripyat, a few kilometers from the power plant, was abandoned head over heels after the accident.
Very jetset at the time, it is now a ghost town.
Nature is slowly reconquering it.
